YOUR PLAYERS. YOUR DEVICE.

Privacy Policy

Effective October 28, 2026. This policy describes the My Game Framed basketball app for iPhone and iPad.

Your data stays in the app on your device

My Game Framed, developed by Michael Martone, helps you record one player's basketball statistics and make digital cards. You do not need a My Game Framed account. The app does not run a server that receives your player profiles, photos, game history or cards.

The app saves the details you enter, such as player names or nicknames, team assignments and jersey numbers, optional game details, recorded plays, photos, card designs and saved card images. These details are used on your device to show your history, calculate statistics and create cards. You can use a nickname and leave optional photos and game details blank.

Photos and illustrated effects

You choose photos through Apple's photo picker. My Game Framed receives the photos you select; it does not scan your photo library. Copies are stored with your app data. Framing and background removal happen on your device, and the photo in your Photos library is not edited.

Confirming a profile-photo crop stores that crop; the uncropped profile selection is not separately retained. A game photo retains its original separately from card framing and a derived cutout. Anime Ace and Comic Book apply illustrated effects on your device when rendering the selected photo. These effects do not send photos to an AI service or replace the stored original or crop.

A game can retain a snapshot of its player details and fallback photo. Saved cards are image snapshots. Changing or removing a profile or game photo does not automatically erase older game snapshots, saved cards or exported copies.

Sharing is your choice

My Game Framed does not post to social networks automatically. Apple's share sheet lets you choose where to send or save a card image, sharing pack or video. A card can include the player's name, photo, team, opponent, game date and recorded statistics. Check every preview and use only information and photos you have permission to share.

A sharing pack includes portrait and Story images and an editable caption. The optional Full Box Score image discloses additional statistics, including turnovers and fouls. The suggested caption uses recorded player information and statistics; your edits can add other details. Review the images and caption before sharing. Destinations may handle multiple images and text differently.

Animated cards are silent six-second MP4 videos created on your device from the card's appearance and content. They do not record microphone audio or upload the player photo for processing.

Once you send an image, caption or video to another app or person, that destination's privacy practices apply. Copies may be saved or forwarded outside My Game Framed. My Game Framed cannot retrieve or erase those copies.

Temporary exports and copied captions

Sharing-pack images, caption text and animated videos are prepared as temporary files on your device. Caption edits belong to the current sharing session and are not saved to the game or Saved Cards. Save or share outputs you want to keep before closing that screen.

The app attempts to remove its temporary export files after a cancelled or failed export or when you close the sharing-pack or video screen. Cleanup can be interrupted. This does not erase images or videos you saved elsewhere, backups or copies held by another app.

Copy Caption puts the text on the system clipboard. Closing the sharing screen does not clear that clipboard text. Only copy details you intend to make available for pasting.

Backups and device services

Backups are created only when you choose to export one. They include private app data and photos, including archived or recoverably deleted history. My Game Framed does not password-protect exported backups. Save them somewhere you trust and share them only with people you choose.

My Game Framed does not automatically sync history between devices. If you save a backup to iCloud Drive or another Files provider, that provider handles storage and synchronization under its own settings and privacy policy. Apple's device backup services may also include app data according to your device settings.

Retention and deletion

Your local history remains until you remove it or delete the app's data. Archiving hides items from the main views. Moving a player or game to Deleted is recoverable and does not permanently erase its saved records or photos; the app does not automatically purge those items.

To remove My Game Framed's local app data from this device, use Delete App in iPhone or iPad Settings. Offload App keeps its documents and data. Exported backups, images or videos saved to Photos or Files, copied captions, shared copies and device backups remain separate; manage those through their respective apps or device services. Keep a backup first if you may want your history again.

No tracking or advertising

My Game Framed does not include advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not sell your data or automatically send your player information to the developer. Apple may process App Store and device diagnostic information according to Apple's privacy policy and your settings.

Young players and shared devices

Parents and guardians should decide which information and photos are appropriate to record or share about a young player. Use a nickname when a full name is not needed. Protect a shared device with a passcode and review cards before sending them outside the app.

When you contact support

If you email support@mygameframed.com, your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send are received in our support inbox, hosted by Google Workspace, and used to respond to your request. Your email service and Google Workspace process that correspondence under their own privacy practices.

The app does not automatically attach player details, photos, game history or backups to a support email. Describe the issue and include the app version; avoid sending player photos, full backups or other private information unless needed for your request.

Support emails are separate from the app's local data. Deleting the app does not delete correspondence you have sent. Contact support@mygameframed.com with questions about that correspondence or to request its deletion.

Your choices and policy changes

Privacy & Help explains how to back up or restore your local history and find archived or deleted items. There is no My Game Framed account or server-held player history to access or erase. Share player photos, full backups or other private information only when you intend to disclose them.

If the app's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated. The effective date above identifies this version of the policy.

Support and privacy questions

Email support@mygameframed.com with questions about the app or this policy. Include only the information needed to explain your request. If you choose to send a message or attachment, its contents leave the app and are handled by the email services used for that communication.

This website

The My Game Framed website is hosted by Squarespace. When you visit, the host processes technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, and logs used for delivery, security and performance. Website visits are separate from the app's on-device processing.

The site is configured to use essential cookies and to restrict nonessential cookies until you allow them. Choose Accept all, Decline all or Manage cookies in the cookie banner. You can change your choice using Cookie Preferences. Analytics/performance and advertising options default to off in the public preferences panel.

Squarespace's visitor Activity Log is disabled for this site. That setting does not eliminate the technical processing needed to deliver, secure and maintain the website. Page delivery may also involve third-party resources, such as fonts. The app's local-only data practices do not mean that website visits involve no analytics or other technical processing.
